Literacy Prep was founded by a devoted public school teacher with a passion for serving children and their families. Over the years, our services have evolved from reading enrichment and intervention services for students in grades K-8 to supporting educational organizations through targeted and tailored professional development. Tiffani J.Turner, Educational Consultant
Tiffani J. Turner (she, her, hers) has teaching certifications in Early Childhood Sped/General Ed PK-3rd and a K-12 Reading Specialist certification.
She earned her bachelors degree from Howard University, a masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University and a masters in Curriculum and Instruction (Literacy Leadership for Diverse Learners) from George Mason University.
Ms. Turner has worked as a literacy coach and as a manager for English Language Arts and Social Studies for a cluster of 12 elementary schools.
As part of a team, she worked to develop and deliver professional development to over 700 educators during District wide professional development days.
She currently coaches and supports middle school educators as they respond to the needs of their students through structured literacy practices.
